No More

There came a day when she wept no more-
No fear,
no pain
no ache within
no judgment cast
no weight of sin.

For burdens lofty
she could not hold-
the darkest story
left untold.
And gruesome many
the image in mind
serving no purpose
to leave behind

When dust as a shadow
falls covering the ground
lost and forgotten
not making a sound.
And best is silence
when answers don’t keep
than bear soul to another
causing them to weep.

As time runs its course
every changing the shore
her face but a glint
but she weeps no more.
